根據Dealogic資料，Gestamp的IPO規模，不管是公司市值或發行量，都是歐洲今年來最大IPO案。
Gestamp產品從車身到到車門鉸鏈等零件都有，福斯到雷諾等汽車公司都是其客戶。
Gestamp去年稅前獲利成長37.7％至3.48億歐元，營收成長7.3％至75億歐元。
Gestamp本來由里貝拉斯家族（Riberas family）全資擁有，但去年把12.5％股權賣給日本三井，依當時市值估算，三井可能支付4.16億歐元。
Gestamp去年獲利大增，三井收購股權的價碼因此上升至4.667億歐元，讓Gestamp市值估算經修正後逾37億歐元。Gestamp員工合計持有公司約1.5％股權。完成IPO後，三井將保留其股權，貝拉斯家族仍持有控股權。
Gestamp董事長兼執行長法蘭西斯科.里貝拉斯（Francisco J. Riberas）說，讓公司上市是擴大經營的必經之路。這讓公司能籌集更多資金，提升公司形象和更能吸納人才，以成為汽車零件供應產業的領導者。
Gestamp目前業務遍布美國與中國等21個國家，全球有95座廠房和約3.4萬名員工。由於全球汽車廢氣排放標準愈來愈嚴格，車商需要重量更輕的零件來降低耗油量，Gestamp業績就是因應這股趨勢而成長。
